Clear Scholr does not require you to provide your date of birth.

Clear Scholr allows you to enter academic information, including:

- Grades and scores
- Assignment weights
- GPA information
- Grade trends
- Grade projections
- Other academic information you choose to enter
Your academic data is stored in Clear Scholr's database (hosted by Supabase) and is protected by row-level security so you can access only your own records.
Academic data is used to provide features such as grade calculations, GPA calculations, trends, and personalized grade projections.
Other Clear Scholr users cannot access your academic data. Authorized Clear Scholr administrators may access account and academic information when reasonably necessary to operate the service, respond to support requests, investigate abuse, or enforce platform rules.
Technical Information
When you use Clear Scholr, certain technical information may be processed automatically. Depending on how you access the service, this may include information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and general information about how you interact with the website.
We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Clear Scholr.
Clear Scholr uses Vercel Analytics to understand general website usage and performance.

3. Personalized Grade Projections
Clear Scholr may use the academic information you enter to generate personalized grade projections and other calculations.
These calculations are generated automatically based on the information you provide and are intended to help you understand your academic progress and potential outcomes.
Your individual academic information is not manually reviewed by Clear Scholr staff as part of providing automated projections.
Grade projections are estimates based on the information available to the application and should not be considered guarantees of future academic results.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Clear Scholr uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to maintain your signed-in session and operate the service.
We do not use advertising cookies.
We do not use cookies to sell your information or provide targeted advertising.
Clear Scholr also uses Vercel Analytics to understand general website usage and improve the performance and reliability of the service.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
Clear Scholr relies on trusted third-party providers to operate portions of the service.
These providers currently include:
- Supabase — authentication, database storage, and application data (including academic records)
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics
- Resend — delivery of account-related and support-related emails
These providers process information necessary to provide their respective services. Academic and account data stored in Supabase is subject to Supabase's security practices and our access controls.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to:

- Protect the security or integrity of Clear Scholr
- Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access

You can delete your Clear Scholr account directly through the service.

Our infrastructure providers may maintain their own operational backups for a limited period as part of standard cloud hosting practices.

Clear Scholr is designed for students in grades 6 through 12.
We do not require users to provide their date of birth. Instead, users select their grade level when setting up their account.
Because Clear Scholr may be used by minors, we take children's privacy seriously and comply with applicable laws and requirements concerning children's personal information.
Privacy requirements for children vary depending on the user's location. In some jurisdictions, additional requirements may apply to the collection or use of personal information from children.
